Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has issued some special guidelines in view of the increasing threat of corona infection. Now people coming to UP from other states will have to bring negative report of corona with them.
Lucknow: With the decrease in the cases of corona in Uttar Pradesh, the movement of people from other states has started. Meanwhile, in view of the possible third wave of Corona, the state government has taken a big decision. In the guidelines issued by the Yogi government, it has been said that the negative report of RTPCR should be made mandatory for people coming to Uttar Pradesh from those states where the rate of corona positive is more than 03 percent. Apart from this, those who have received both doses of corona vaccine should be exempted. Reports older than four days will not be valid and entry will be available in UP only after the corona negative investigation report. This rule will be applicable to those coming by rail, road, air.
Yogi gave guidelines
Chief Minister Yogi was reviewing the situation of Kovid-19 in the state in a high level meeting called at his official residence 5, Kalidas Marg here today. He said that the corona epidemic is currently under controlled condition, but there is a need to be extra vigilant about it. Chief Minister Yogi said that due to the 'Trace, Test and Treat' policy of the State Government, there has been a rapid reduction in the cases of Kovid infection in the state. The positivity rate of corona infection is continuously decreasing and the recovery rate is increasing continuously. He has given instructions to keep the arrangements for prevention and treatment of corona strong.
Here will be the antigen test
CM Yogi said that arrangements for antigen test should be ensured at railways, bus stations and airports. Let us tell you that in the last 24 hours, 56 new cases of corona infection have come to light in the state. In the same period, 69 infected persons have been discharged after successful treatment. At present, the number of active cases of corona infection in the state is 1,262. A total of 2,54,771 corona tests were conducted in the state in the last 24 hours. So far, a total of 06 crore 23 lakh 71 thousand 542 corona tests have been completed in the state. The recovery rate of corona infection in the state is 98.6 percent.
Uttar Pradesh has the highest number of vaccinations in the country, the work of Kovid vaccination is going on smoothly. So far, more than 04 crore 03 lakh 52 thousand COVID vaccines have been administered in the state, which is the highest in the country. Chief Minister Yogi said that people should be continuously made aware about Kovid vaccination. The process of online registration for vaccination should be encouraged.
