Russia has cut off direct contact with the Ukrainian government. Ukraine's Defense Minister Oleksey Reznikov has told parliament that Russia has about 94,000 troops along the Ukraine border and that Russia could launch an offensive in late January. Ukraine's Defense Minister has said that our intelligence reports suggest that Russia may attack Ukraine in January and we are ready and capable to deal with any situation.
