US appointed Tibetan coordinator amid rising tension with China
The tension between China and America is increasing continuously.
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi has said that we are not afraid of a direct confrontation with America. He has also said that we would welcome cooperation if both sides are equally beneficial.
Wang Yi has said that the problems in US-China relations have gone down because of strategic wrong decisions by the US side. But if there is any kind of confrontation, China will not be afraid of it and will fight till the end. He has said that there is no disadvantage in competition but it should be positive.
The US has constantly tried to increase pressure on Beijing regarding the origin of the Coronavirus epidemic, issues of trade, human rights, Taiwan, Xinjiang, and Tibet, etc.
Recently, US President Joe Biden and Chinese President Xi Jinping had a virtual conversation. In this conversation, Biden put pressure on China on the human rights issue, while Jinping warned that China would respond to any kind of provocation on Taiwan.
The US Senate recently passed a law to ban items imported from China's Xinjiang region. The law was passed over forced labor and Beijing's persecution of the Uighur Muslim minority. However, China has vehemently denied the allegations of violation of the rights of the common people in Xinjiang.
