In the 2+2 dialogue between India and Russia earlier this month, an agreement has been reached on the manufacture of weapons outside the country. There is no agreement regarding this, but there has been a non-paper exchange between the two countries. Under this, the production of weapons is proposed in the countries of Central Asia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan. This production will be done only in the factories of the Soviet-era located in these countries. According to the report, an agreement has been reached between the two countries, and can move forward on this proposal in the coming days.

Afghanistan was discussed in this meeting, about which it is being said that India has once again been in a position to strengthen its penetration in the neighboring country. Now if India does the work of producing weapons in the countries of Central Asia, then it will be a big success. The reason for this is that India has long wanted to be an exporter rather than an importer of arms, so arms production in the countries of Central Asia will be a great success. Russian weapons are used in most countries of Central Asia. Now Russia will produce weapons with India in the factories of the Soviet-era here.

It is being said that the weapons made here will be given to the countries of Central Asia. Apart from this, the needs of India will also be fulfilled. For decades, many Russian-made weapons, military vehicles, and other equipment have been used in the Indian Army as well. This will be an important step for India towards becoming an arms exporter country. With this, India will be helped to strengthen its penetration in the Muslim majority countries of Central Asia. This will put India in a stronger position in Afghanistan as well. India's entry into Afghanistan through Russia will also irritate Pakistan.
