My shift is over, I will not fly the flight now
Pakistani pilot's antics created a ruckus.
A Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) pilot refused to fly a plane from Riyadh to Islamabad on Sunday. After refusing to fly the plane, he told that his shift is over, so he will not fly the plane. Due to the actions of the pilot, the passengers sitting in the plane created a lot of ruckus and refused to get off the plane.
According to the PIA administration, flight number PK-9754 took off from Riyadh but landed in Dammam due to bad weather. The captain of the plane then refused to take the plane to Islamabad, saying that his time of duty was over. Irritated by the pilot's actions, the passengers refused to alight the plane in protest. However, airport security was called to bring the situation under control.
A PIA spokesperson said that due to the safety of the flight, it is necessary for the pilots to take proper rest before taking off, so arrangements were made in this regard. In November, Pakistan's national airline (PIA) announced that it was expanding its flight operations to Saudi Arabia. According to the spokesperson, PIA flights will depart from different cities of the country including Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Multan, and Peshawar.
