The nation should identify those who smile at the death of CDS

Akbar said that he decided to renounce his Islam because many Muslims had reacted with smiles to the post related to the death of CDS Rawat. In a way, he expressed happiness.

Akbar said that even the top leaders of Islam have not opposed such actions by 'traitors'. He has insulted a brave military officer and he cannot accept it. He said he has lost faith in religion and posted a video about it on his Facebook page on Wednesday.

Akbar said in the video, "Today I am taking off a dress I got from birth. From today I am not a Muslim. I belong to India. This is my reply to those who posted thousands of smiling emojis against India."

The post received strong criticism from Muslim users on Facebook and some even used abusive language. Akbar was also seen using derogatory words to respond to some of those comments. Meanwhile, many users supported Akbar and reprimanded the abusers.

Although the post later 'disappeared' from Facebook, it is being widely circulated on WhatsApp. Akbar later posted another in which he said, "The nation should identify those who smile at the death of CDS." Hundreds of supportive and abusive comments were also seen on this post.

According to a report, Akbar said that there are many anti-national activities on social media and smiling at Rawat's death is the latest example. He said, “Most of the users who commented and celebrated the news of Rawat's death with a smiling emoji were Muslims. He did this because Rawat had taken many actions against terrorists in Pakistan and Kashmir. Despite seeing these public posts insulting a brave officer and the country, none of the top Muslim leaders reacted. I cannot be part of such a religion."
