In Asian countries, there is still an increased demand for parts of those rare animals living in Russia, which manifested itself against the backdrop of the coronavirus pandemic. At the same time, Russian law enforcement officers are fighting back international criminal groups. So, over the past year, the work of two large groups at once was suppressed. This was told by the general director of the Amur Tiger Center Sergei Aramilev.
Aramilev said that the coronavirus pandemic had led to increased demand in Asia for products of plant and animal origin that enhance immunity. In this regard, the demand for parts of those animals and plants that can be found on the territory of Russia has grown.
