There is news of relief for pregnant women during the pandemic.
New research has claimed that the coronavirus cannot harm the brain of the baby of pregnant women. According to research, even if pregnant women have mild to moderate symptoms of coronavirus, even then this infection cannot have any effect on the brain of the fetus.
The research was presented at the annual meeting of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA). Sophia Stocklein, MD, in the department of radiology at the University of Munich in Germany, said there was no evidence that the infection had any effect on a child's brain development.
Stocklin cautioned that only mothers with mild to moderate symptoms and those without hospitalization were included in the study.
