China's land border law came into force from the new year
China's land border law came into force on January 1.
The neighboring country had approved it only last year. China has implemented this law at a time when there is a situation of tension with India in eastern Ladakh. Not only this, China has renamed many areas of Arunachal Pradesh and its ambassador has advised many leaders of India not to attend the program of the people of the Tibetan community living in the country.
The law was passed by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China. In this, it has been said to protect China's land border and prevent encroachment on it. According to China's state-run news agency Xinhua, the law states, "China's integrity and sovereignty are sacred and indispensable." The government needs to make efforts to protect it so that no one can encroach. The law states that the government needs to undertake border security, economic and social development. Apart from this, there is a need to strengthen the infrastructure, ease the life of the people on the borders and settle the population.
