Airspace in Afghanistan is currently closed. An appeal has been made by the airport authority that people should not come to the airport. There was aerial firing by American soldiers at Kabul Airport, which led to a stampede. Perhaps this is also the reason, due to which people died. On Sunday itself, the US said that its 6,000 soldiers would guard Kabul airport and ensure the safe return of people. However, this does not seem to be happening. Many countries around the world including America, Britain, Australia are trying to evacuate their citizens from Afghanistan. But now the concerns of all these countries including India have increased due to the closure of the airport and the halt of flights.
Taliban occupy borders, the airport is the only way out
Taliban fighters have captured all the borders of Afghanistan adjoining countries like Pakistan, Iran. In such a situation, the airport is the only exit point through which people can leave Afghanistan. But the kind of view that is being seen from Kabul, there is a fear among people that this last option may also end soon. In such a situation, people are trying to get out of Afghanistan by sitting on a plane. Many such videos are being circulated on social media, in which people are seen trying to hang on the planes.
